Ameen Shallal

Ameen Shallal is a seasoned recruiting professional with nearly 20 years of experience spanning investment analysis, tax strategy, and career placement. Starting his career as an Investment & Tax Analyst at Andersen, Ameen took his learned skills in tax, accounting and consulting to start his own business in recruitment. At Dream Careers, he led market initiatives in Washington, D.C. and Miami, successfully placing students in coveted internships at organizations like NASA, the White House, Morgan Stanley, and Universal Music. Recognizing that too many ambitious students and career changers struggle to find the right opportunities, Ameen founded EGIS Careers in 2018. His mission is to bridge the gap between ambition and opportunity by connecting students and entry-level professionals to high-impact internship programs and lateral roles, while providing expert mentorship to empower the next generation of finance professionals to excel.
